Michael has been practicing commercial litigation for 14 years. He has represented insurers
in complex coverage litigation, companies in commercial disputes, officers & directors of public companies , and advising fortune 100 companies for investigations and regulatory compliance.
Michael started his legal career as an associate in 2000 at Winston & Strawn LLP in Washington, D.C.
In 2002 he joined Venable LLP ., where he advised companies and Federal agencies on financial regulatory compliance.
In 2006 he moved to New York and joined the boutique litigation firm Arkin Kaplan Rice LLP where he litigated complex commercial disputes and sophisticated investment fraud.
Michael is a member of the bar and licensed to practice law in New York, California, The District of Columbia, and Maryland. He received his J.D. summa cum laude, from Seattle University in 1999 and is a graduate of University of Washington. He now lives in San Francisco.
